Things to note:
- This was a study primarily centered around intimate partner violence (regardless of current orientation)
- Bisexual women (61.1 percent) report a higher prevalence of rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner compared to both lesbian (43.8 percent) and heterosexual women (35 percent).
- Two-thirds of lesbians reported having only female perpetrators of IPV (Intimate Partner Violence)
- When the laws say ‘sexual violence’ of men it often means rape but the laws still have a hard time defining it as such
